Anifilm, International Festival of Animated Films, is the largest event dedicated to animation in the Czech Republic. Since the 19th edition in 2020 it takes place in the city of Liberec. The festival mission is to present current trends, methods, technologies and animation techniques to the wide audience of over 30.000 unique attendees, including many foreign guests.

The extensive non-competitive film programme includes thematic focus sections, retrospectives,
jury programmes, midnight animation and animo (films for children).

Beside the festival’s own industry programme of masterclasses, works in progress showcases, presentations and lectures for animation professionals, there is the CEE Animation Forum Pitching taking place simultaneously.

The accompanying programme consists of concerts, thematic exhibitions, theatre performances for children, video mapping, etc.

Anifilm is organised by the Civil Association for the Support of Animated Film (Občanské sdružení pro podporu animovaného filmu z.s.) / OSPAF.
