AFN Returns for the 3rd Year at Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market

We’re thrilled to announce our third consecutive participation in the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market, set to take place between February 5 – 8, 2024. Join us at booth E6, where we’re excited to showcase the vibrant spectrum of our national animation industries, promote our joint programs, and celebrate the art of animation.

**Join Us for a Meet and Greet: February 6, 18:00 at Booth E6**

On Tuesday, February 6, at 18:00, we invite you to a laid-back meet & greet at our booth. Sip on local drinks, munch on snacks, and get to know our team. It’s more than just a box to thick in your busy market schedules – it’s a good chance to connect with fellow animation enthusiasts and indulge in the spirit of AFN.

**Market Screening: „That’s What She Said“ – February 8, 18:00, Georges Cochon Theatre**

Returning to the Georges Cochon Theatre on February 8th, AFN presents: „That’s What She Said.“ Curated by the programme directors of Animateka, Animafest Zagreb, Animest, Fest Anca, and Anifilm, this program spotlights short animations directed by emerging female talents from Central and Eastern European countries.

The films in the program include:
– „Doubt“ by Adela Durchankova
– „Above the Clouds“ by Vivien Harshegyi
– [Additional Titles]

This special event not only celebrates the talent of these filmmakers but also emphasizes the importance of female voices in the (animated) film industry.

Admission is free, but requires a valid accreditation.

**Booth E6 – Your Hub for AFN Goodies and Information**

Throughout the Short Film Market, we encourage you to drop by our booth (E6). Whether you have questions about the network itself, our individual festivals, the AFN programs & project, or simply want to snag some cute merchandise (no shame!), our team is there to welcome you.

Remember, „Festivals that play together, stay together“. Join us in embracing the collaborative spirit that defines the Animation Festival Network. Let’s celebrate creativity, diversity, and talent in the world of animation, together!
