Animation Festival Network – AFN will again attend the Short Film Market in Clermont-Ferrand 2023! Representatives of the five member festivals – Animafest Zagreb (Croatia), Anifilm (Czechia), Animateka (Slovenia), Animest (Romania) and Fest Anča (Slovakia) will be in attendance from January 30th to February 2nd so come meet us at the booth E6.

On Wednesday February 1st at 6:00 pm enjoy the tasty drinks and snacks brought dicectly from the festivals‘ countries at the Meet & Greet at the booth E6. Later the same day from 8:15 PM joins us for the Animation Festival Network Presents programme screening at Espace Multimedia Georges Conchon and discover the five awarded films from the most recent editions of each of the member festivals.

Attend a live pitch of three exciting animated films in development, by talented young authors who finished the first ever edition of Rise & Shine – a Pitching Lab aimed at first-and-second-time European animation filmmakers. Come and see the selected projects on Monday, January 30th @Agora (Short Film Market, Marché du Film Court – Agora) starting at 5 pm and connect with young professionals from Croatia, Montenegro, Poland and Portugal. The Rise & Shine Pitching Lab is a project organized by the collaborative efforts of our members Animafest Zagreb and Animateka with Slovene Animated Film Association and CEE Animation.
